The Building Complex is more than just a venue—it’s a labor of love inspired by Victor’s passion for soccer and dedication to bringing people together.
Growing up in Castaños, Coahuila, MX, Victor was an avid soccer player with big dreams of creating something impactful in the U.S. After immigrating, he built a construction business with his wife, turning their property into a successful family endeavor.
But Victor never let go of his dream of opening a sports facility. For 26 years, he poured his heart into coaching youth soccer in West Haven and playing in men’s leagues statewide, becoming a respected mentor and leader. When the time was right, he saw the chance to transform the property into a vibrant sports and event space that would serve his community.
In Jan 2023, with the support of his daughters, Brina and Sylvia, The Building Complex opened its doors. Together, they combined their talents and vision to create a welcoming, family-oriented space. The facility now features a futsal field, outdoor turf field and versatile event areas, offering something for everyone!
At The Building Complex, we’re committed to providing a space where people can play, celebrate, and connect. Whether you’re an athlete, event organizer, or community member, you’ll find a place that values teamwork, inclusivity, and the joy of coming together.
